The location was marvellous for Swellendam, adjacent to the restaurant itself, Swellendam and the guest house & Restuarant. And it's just a short stroll away from The Garden Shack, ate there once or twice. The food was tasteful - a great selection of options.

The rooms were clean and modern, with comfortable pillows and even an electric blanket. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the pool and garden were very relaxing.
The only thing I missed in the room was a small fridge to keep our drinks cold, but the hotel staff kindly let us use the one in the restaurant. The hotel was a bit off the beaten track, but it was worth it for the peaceful surroundings.
